We got our hands on a Tesla Model 3 and an awesome owner named Tony, who spent the better part of a day filming with us and talking about his car.
What Tony doesn’t know about his Model Three probably isn’t worth knowing. Tony went really in-depth in our interview with him, and we don’t want you to miss out on anything. That’s why instead of trying to cut everything down to a 10-minute review, we are splitting this Tesla Model 3 review in multiple parts.
In this first part, we chat with Tony about why he chose an electric car and how there’s almost no servicing required.
We talk about Tesla roadside assistance and have a good look around the outside of the car, including the boot and the frunk (that’s Tesla lingo for you 😅).
We also talk about how the Model 3 sunroof holds up in Australian conditions.
In part two and part three of this review, we’ll get way deep into charging, cost of ownership, whether you can actually drive an EV around Australia, safety, noise, how to actually purchase a Tesla (spoiler – no haggling allowed), issues, warranty, build quality and much more!
In short, this is our most in-depth car review to date here on Owner Drive.
You can also find Tony over on his YouTube channel SteamsoundsAU where he covers model trains and the sounds of steam trains.
